I have used an Olympus C-700 Ultra Zoom, 2.1 megapixal, for 3-4 years now. It uses smart media cards that go directly into my computers. The 10x optical zoom is the best feature on the camera. It allows me to take photos from a distance. This feature is most handy at woodcarving seminars. I can zoom right in on the instructors work without stepping in front of the group and obstructing their view.
