I don't remember who gave me the super gluing cuts idea but THANKS.
There is a product that does the same thing sold at drugstores now. I tried
the spray, but didn't care for it. Would recommend the brush on kind instead
or super glue if you don't have that.
Every idea doesn't work all the time. LOL
A fellow woodcarver and outstanding woodturner sanded the top of his
knuckle on his belt sander. He wanted to get back to his carving. Tried
superglue but the sanded knuckle wouldn't stop as the blood kept coming thru.
Becoming impatient, he decided to put super glue on it again and spray
accelator on it. This is commonly done when woodturning to get the glue to
dry almost instantly so you can get back to work.
Sooooo, he put more super glue on the sanded knuckle and then sprayed it
with accelorator. BIG MISTAKE! It was extremely painful, and actually began
to smoke. He dashed to the sink and turned on the cold water. It continued to
smoke while still under the water and the pain didn't abate at all. It was
several minutes before he got any relief. He passed this along as a warning.
Yes, he has received much kidding about this in spite of the original pain
involved.
