In our group it is called ³creativity² or ³pattern modification². We joined
our club, Kaw Valley Woodcarvers, out of Topeka, KS and found what a FUN
group they are besides talented, helpful, sharing, caring, compassionate,
wonderful people. Then we attended the Doane Experience at Crete, NE put on
by the Mid America Woodcarvers out of Omaha, NE and the Escapee Birds of a
Feathers Woodcarvers seminar at North Ranch Escapee Campground at Congress,
AZ and now I am experiencing this Woodcarvers List and we¹ve discovered
Woodcarvers everywhere are the same. Absolutely not enough good words to
describe these GREAT woodcarvers. I love the ³community² and pray God will
allow me to be a part of it for a long, long time. I have depression
problems and it is amazing what just some computer contact with all you
great people can do for me on a ³down² day ‹ much more than pills. The
other thing I have learned is that there are no uppity ups in woodcarving.
Those with more talent, more experience, more success are just a wonderful
and the common you and I¹s. May God be with you all. Thank you.
