I have used Dremels for years with very few troubles - and when I had a
problem I would just ship it to Dremel for repair. I needed an extra for my
wife and saw the one at Sears - saw that it was made by Dremal and figured
it was a no brainier. After bringing it back to Sears four times for
replacement in the first 90 days I gave up and got my wife a real Dremal.
That was at least 3 yrs ago with no problems. The folks a Sears were very
nice and gave me no trouble about the returns but I got tired of fighting
it. That is my two cents for what it is worth.
