[Woodcarver] Rotary Tools & Wood Burners

Hello,

Just thought I would throw my two cents in the pot. I have a Proxxon
Micromot 50 rotary tool with a NG5 power supply. The power supply has the
speed control built in, and has a few slots to store a dozen or so burs
while you are working. I'm not much of a power carver, but this tool is
fantastic. The handpiece fits in your hand like a large pen, no vibration,
and plenty of torque. The flexible shaft is made of a urethane-type material
and is the most flexible I have ever seen. I love it. No big handpiece, no
foot control to keep kicking around by accident. Take a look at:
http://www.proxxon.com/

The tools are made in Germany, and require the power supply to run on US
electricity.

Good Carving,
Dan Heine
