[Woodcarver] Georgia classes or clubs

Can anyone tell me if there are any woodcarving classes or clubs in or around Athens, Ga.? Maybe up to 50 miles from Athens.
I am new to woodcarving and I am just starting out. I have always loved working with wood since a teenager when I done wood burning. I watched a guy carve on a mantle piece at a theme park this summer and it gave me the carving fever. I want to wood carve and I am open to any suggestions or ideas.
