I temporially put aside a relief carving from the book "Landscapes In
Relief" by Lora S. Irish to complete several smaller carvings I started
but did not finish at the NEWR in Honesdale. This is my 3rd relief
carving from her book.

As it turns out, all my instructors but one are from this LIST.

I completed a spoon with Santa carved in its handle which CarvinJack
Miller showed me. I added a chip carving to the bowl. Jack also showed
me how to carve a duck. It is now complete, but will not be painted.

Mike Bloomquist instructed me in the art of Gnome Homes, which I am
STILL working on, but I'm almost done with it Mike.

Merrilee Johnson taught my wife, Bev, and I how to carve a Santa and
angel pin after hours.

Not from this list was Elmer Jumper, who instructed both Merrilee
Johnson and myself on clown carving. I finished this one with an acrylic
wash. I had a great time talking to Merrilee, she is a wonderful and
talented person. The clown is completed.

What's everybody else carving?
