Hey Dally, Hey David,

Rather out-of-control ??? Is there any other way to live for if there is
I want someone to clue me in, give me the secret, write it down and mail
it to me ...
I believe that in any project, whether a new book or a new large
carving, there is a point of total desperation. It usually comes for me
about 4/5's of the way through. There is that moment in a carving when
you have just about everything at the right depth, just about all of the
detailing added, most of the fuzz bunnies captured and destroyed, all
most all of the under cuts done ... But nothing is quite finished.
That's the moment I freak out! There is always that stupid but insistent
fear that this time I won't be able to pull it all together and get it
finished. That this time I will simply fall flat of my face in the mud
... AHHH!

Now for Michael, that's the time that he knows we are almost through to
the other end, just about done, and near the finish line. He takes my
moment of my O. M. G.'s and rejoices that this one is about to be
packed, stamped, and mailed. Thank heavens for loving support!!!

I haven't had a chance to order Lori's newest, but it is definitely on
my Must Do list for the week.

Now, Sally, when can we expect to see a new book off your work table.
The fan bird is your Christmas card was, well, pun totally intended, FAN
- tastic.

Oh, I missed one on my list:

6. You have to go buy a snow shovel because the saw dust and wood chips
in the work shop are so deep that they are starting to create snow
drifts when the fan comes on and you hubby is afraid that if you fall
down that he will never be able to find you underneath the depths of the
chips.

Susan

Hi Sue,
LOL we had a good chuckle with your note of reality. There is some
comfort to know other folks households survive in the same manner as
ours..."rather out-of-control." Not that I would wish a household like
this on anyone. Our little country corner store always knows when
we're into a project because we survive on their pizza's "daily."
David and I do this together as do you and Mike. I would say David is
the "stabilizer." When I reach the point of panic attack, he is always
there to calm the stormy waters and helps me see how much we've
accomplished rather than how much we have to do. I've never been good
in that category.

Thanks for the reality check. LOL

Sally and David

PS. We can't wait to receive our autographed copy of Lori's book.
We've seen a picture of the cover and "know" the content will be great.
