Hello. I have been lurking for many years but now have a question. This
discussion of charges for teaching has been very interesting and informative for
me. I have been carving for 14 years but have never taught any classes.
Since I retired six months ago, I have been giving more thought to teaching. My
biggest concern is liability. I have been in classes where I have seen
students get seriously injured through no fault of the instructor. As an instructor
how do you protect yourself from the possibilty of a lawsuit. And I am
interested in how this would be done both in your own home/shop and in any outside
locations. Thanks
Jim
