Bill,
I have a Sears 12" saw & real quick I would say it's the
ballbearing on the top wheel.
Sears has a 1-800 number you can call and order the
Operator's Manual which includes all the parts numbers.
If you're real sure it's the bearing, you can order just
the bearing with out ordering the book, but the book
also tells you how to install & adjust the blades.
