Hi Bill,

I think George is correct. I have the same old model. I got it new about 25
years ago. I've done no adjustment, other than the pillow blocks, since I
got it, so I've never had that upper assembly apart. It looks like an
adjustment screw that sets the alignment must have come loose.

My saw gets a lot of use and I sure love it. The only thing is that it is a
little underpowered when ripping 4 to 6-inch thick walnut and cherry. I have
to inch the stock through slowly. Other than that it runs like a top and the
blades last a very long time.
