Hi Dicky,
We've gotten some knees for resale from Louisiana Cypress Products in
the past and have been pleased with them.
They can be reached at

Being a native of LA and having lots of relatives left down there, I wander that way fairly often. A couple of years ago I stopped by Olla, La (about halfway between Monroe and Alexandria on hwy 165 and visited these folks. I was impressed by their friendliness and their supply of knees. He has them from very small to some that are multi-head and upwards to 6' tall. He also has some that have been cut "slab wise" and are excellent as a base for other carvings. A quick stop turned into a half-day visit with the owner and his wife. His prices are a lot lower than mine would be if I had to harvest, skin, dry and store the knees (have done it a few times in the past). So, I came away with the number that my wife would allow me to store in the 5th wheel. You won't regret dealing with this outfit.
