Hi Bing,

I don't know of a book that will tell you how to join all those different
types of wood.

For the work to be stable and not crack the expansion and contraction of
each species should be fairly close to matching the species it is attached
to. The table I use for expansion and contraction of wood is by Tom Liebl on
page 102 by Fine Woodworking in the book titled Wood and How To Dry It.
