[Woodcarver] Junior Cobb

  Hello Everyone,

  A friend recently picked up a carving of an owl carved into a piece of driftwood.  It was signed by Junior Cobb.  I looked him up on the web and found some real good info on him, but it never showed how he signed his carvings.  On the owl carving the Junior Cobb is simply carved into the bottom of the piece with what appears to be a v-tool.  Is there any way to authenticate this piece or de we just accept that the signature is authentic.  Thank you very much for any and all answers.
