But I am taking the advice off you carvers that have 1st hand knowledge of whats the top & not & thank you all for saveing us $ who don't know 1st hand.

  Steve:

My apologies to two cherries owners... these tools are good quality, for sure. But IMHO, they are overpriced.

Swiss tools offer the same level of quality at a lower price, especially here is Canada where the price differential for a set of 12 ranges from $100-$120. A set of Swiss typically sells for $346.00 Canadian.
Just go to eBay Canada and search for "carving tools" and you will see what I mean.

I have had considerable discussion with a Canadian supplier of Two Cherries tools and came to the same conclusion: good tools priced too high.

If you need a Canadian supplier (B.C.) contact me off list, OK?

    Hi All,
I have a question from a friend in Florida who does not have a computer. He is wanting to buy a set of Two Cherry's carving tools that come in a set of 12. From what I understand, he said the set runs about the $500 mark so my question is, can this set be found cheaper anywhere. Another question I have is what would be so special about Two Cherry other than one's personal preference? I may have put my foot in my mouth here so I apologize in advance to all Two Cherry's tool lovers.

    Thanks for the help....

    Best Regards,
