I'll include a link here that shows Nathan Jackson teaching a class on bowl 
carving.
I think Nathan and Norman may be brothers or cousins at the least.  Israel 
Shotridge is another
famous Native carver in Ketchikan.  And here in Metlakatla is Jack Hudson. 
Jack has pieces exhibited
all over the world.
