When I designed my shop, I went to the largest manufacturer of lighting & 
lighting products.
That being Philips Lighting    http://www.lighting.philips.com/   and asked 
them. They told me which incandescent and fluorescent lamps (not bulbs) were 
the best.
I haven't been disappointed in their choices.
