Good Evening,
Another alternative tousing only a mask is to use a dust collecter. The
commercial ones are upwars of $200.00, but Ed Walicki has the
plans for building your own on his web site:

I have not done any power carving yet, but when I start, I will probably use
an inexpensive mask and the dust collecter.
