[Woodcarver] Re: question about relief carving

I am very new to carving, and to take a solid block of wood, and to look at  
a picture and then use the Dremel and to have it come out as something you 
would  recognize is a miracle.(as a four legged creature, some think dog, horse)
Actually making anything these days seems like a miracle.
I started using the Dremel on half speed with very fine bits because it is  
easier for me to hold.
I don't find it faster, but I do find it smoother. I must lack the purity  
gene.
I have looked at a lot of the carvings that you all do and I am in awe of  
such talent.
