[Woodcarver] young carvers (chat)

Hi Peter,
How sad for the school's children. Being a teacher I do know how hard it is
to let "others" come in and do something but... in they must come and we
all benefit! Even just a demonstration to show what it is all about and
then let the kids do it after school or the weekend. As someone else
suggested Saturday or Sunday is good but I have 2 kids that want to carve
but they both belong to a traveling soccor team and they play games both
day. I guess this is how they learn to make choices in life :) And then
the retired adults only carving one day a week is sad also. Yet I think its
just a social thing more than anything for some. Maybe something will hit
home and the interest will pick up thier interest. Hopefully! :)
