Thanks Dan. Must be such a lot of fun to meet the people you've been chatting to.

Bonnie,
GOW is the Gathering of Woodcarvers, and is hosted in September by Joe Dillet.
Roundup is the Woodcarvers Roundup in Evart, MI.
Both of these offer 4 days of carving classes, food and fellowship, by some of the premier carvers in the US. They are generous enough to donate their time and knowledge to the people who attend these events. A great place to meet people on this list, and learn new skills.
Thanks,
Dan Heine

I agree. I started carving about three years ago, and if it were not for the help, the support and the fellowship of this group, I probably would have quit long ago. I love going to GOW or roundup and meeting most od you in person. What a finhe group of human beings on this list.
Happy Holidays to all,
Dan Heine

Bill and the List family,
I and the whole Whillock family have, of course, experienced first hand the powerful support of the carving community. Looking back over the past years, as Marnie now is regaining her health, I'm convinced that your support aided greatly in her recovery, and it's heartwarming to see how that support continues still.
We all share a common interest, but, even more importantly, we share a common humanity. I thank you for that.
Thanks particularly to Bill whose list provides a key to the fellowship we all enjoy.
