Congratulations Maura! How strong you are for even doing it!! That is the
hardest part - just putting things together and listening to people talk
about your work! Next time it will be better!

Hi Merilee, It was pretty good for my first time. When i first started
carving and showed all you guys my pics mostly everyone had very positive things
to say.....but it was the critiques which i really took to heart. Same
thing with my show. Most said wonderful things to me and of course i ate that up
but one of two speaking amongst themselves said something I quietly
overheard, mostly about my display style. As soon as they walked away I would ask
myself if what they said was valid, if it was and I had a way to change it, I
did. It was a great learning experience. Sold lots of scrollsaw items and
pyro and a few small carvings. Recieved a commission and just today sold my
santa head that i made for Mike B's class. They had seen it at the fair and
just had to have it. Can't wait to get out there again.
