I highly recommend Microsoft Expression Graphic Designer, 
http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/en/graphic_designer/default.mspx. 
It's the best graphics design program I've found, it does a LOT and it is 
FREE. The only down side is that every couple of years it becomes obsolete 
and you have to redownload. I hope they never start charging for it because 
it would probably cost a bundle with all the stuff it does. You can do both 
vector and bitmap designing with it. You can even save to Adobe Illustrator 
format so you can import your designs to a 3D program to extrude your 2D 
designs to 3D.

  Hi all,
  Can anyone recommend a software program that will let me draw my own 
patterns on the computer, also does anyone know of a program that will 
convert pictures into scroll saw patterns.
