[Woodcarver] resin

Pat,
I am trying to figure out the unevenness. I can understand high spots not
getting covered, but I can¹t understand how low spots developed if it was
poured. If the high spots are on one of the sides that may have been higher
during the pouring, you can just put on another coat and make sure the piece
is level. This may also take care of the uneven low spots. If what you mean
by ³rough² is literally the resin developing rough spots when dry then maybe
the catalyst was not mixed thoroughly. Are you able to post images?
Tom

I am sorry, sometime i tend to ramble, that is what happens when the oxygen
gets low. I have a relief carving and i poured the two part resin on it and
ended up with low spots and some rough spots that didn't get covered with
the resin. you can see through it, is that transparent? the piece is only
about 1/4 inch in depth at the lowest spot. thanks for your help
pat
