Joe:

Thanks for voicing your approval of the stylized water. I really like  
taking complex objects, like water, and finding ways to represent  
them in wood.

Now, the Viking carving I did some years back shows water rendered  
more realistically. I managed to achieve perspective in the water  
with progressively finer tool-marking as the water recedes into the  
background.
