I believe the proper word is scam not spam.
I'm sorry to disagree with many of you. I've read a lot of Nigerian 419
scam letters and response by scam "baiters". It could be as eluded to just
a translation problem, however the tactics of trying to touch the guilt
complexes is very common amongst scammers.

Second, even though there's many professional carvers on the list and the
list is owned by one, it has traditionally been the policy of the list to
provide a place to share carving information and NOT as a marketing place.
In that regard I believe his postings are outside what has been the
traditional use of this list.

I'll shut up now.
