Thanks Merryl, we definitely intend to check out those lobsters you
briefly mentioned.  :-)   And the beaches, although we're thinking it
may be a tad on the chilly side for folks from south Alabama.   I hope
to be able to contact the carver's guild you mentioned.  

 

We are meeting up with some friends of a friend, so I don't what our
schedule will be.  This is primarily a business trip to check out the
mini-mill in Belfast, and I'm hoping we end up spending more time there
than we would ordinarily.

Well, besides the beautiful beaches, friendly folks, salt air and deep
sea fishing, there are many many lobsters, blue mussels, and assorted
seafood to feast on. The mackerel should be running too! Did I mention
the lobsters!

 

I'm relatively new to carving and haven't made any carver contacts there
yet. I know there was a show just last weekend.  I googled PEI Carvers
