[Woodcarver] Dust Collection

I know this issue has been discussed before but I'm looking for some  
information on it now.  I have a friend who has a Jet 650A he is willing to  sell, it 
is new  yet but 2 years old, still in box so no warranty, I can  get it for 
about 150 I think.  Has anyone used this machine?  Do I  need to worry about 
grounding the hose if I use it only as a portable  unit?
