[Woodcarver] (no subject)

Has any any one happened to read the article by bill cline in the recent issue of carvers magazine.the article was about relief power carving of a whimsical house done in pine or spruce.My question is I have looked all over and cant find 1 " thick spruce.does any one have any idea where i can find it       thanks Irwin Reisman          e mail is irmar125 at aol.com
