[Woodcarver] quesion about furnace room

[Jan Oegema]

I recently moved and there is a large room where the furnace is.  Is it against some code that you can't have power things like tools in that room?  I know I can't paint in there but there are no electrical outlets except where the furnace is.  It would make an excellent wood shop.  The house is only 3 years old.

DO install a separate plug for your machines do NOT use the one from the furnace
