[Woodcarver] What have you been working on?

Just got back from a week with my grown daughter in Colorado, climbing a 14er and watching her race bicycles. Before that I was at Carve-Fest in Minnesota, where I had a great time. Before that I spent 2 weeks with my 86 year old Dad watching him mow the lawn on his prized John Deere tractor- less than 1/4 acre- including the house-lol. While there I did a carving demo at the West Springfield Woodcraft store where they treated me like a queen and asked if I'd be interested in teaching a band saw box class at the Connecticut Woodworking School next year. Duh, does a duck have lips! Life for a 62 year old woman just doesn't get much better than that.

Oh yeah- not to forget the week long carving cruise to Alaska at the end of September to prepare for. I am one lucky woman. Next year the featured carving teacher will be Wayne Barton and the trip to the North East of North America. Lucky man- he deserves it.
You asked!
