Hi Patti,
We sure did miss you last September at the GOW. Hope you make it to GOW 2009.
I've got several bad habits I can loan you. However I think your life is already interesting enough without the bad habits.

Carve more. Worry less. Eat better. Exercise. I think I will take up some bad habit to keep life interesting. And of course...really make it to the GOW this year...life got in the way in 2008 but 2009 should be better. (I hope).

Hi fellow carvers,
What are your woodcarving related New Year's resolutions?
Last year I closed the business, resolving to work less and have more fun. That worked out so well I'm making the same resolution again. I'm still carving. I'm currently working on some large church carvings but at a much slower pace. They just broke ground in November and won't be ready for them for awhile.
I plan to continue teaching disabled veterans here in my shop and at Camp Pendleton.
We're also making new plans. My wife and I are putting together a small woodcarving museum that we hope to have open around September 2009.
We're also organizing GOW 2009 (Gathering Of Woodcarvers) for the week of September 28, 2009.
What are your plans, goals, dreams for the new year?
