[Woodcarver] A Carving Vice

There is a basic vise on my website.  Go to www.cedarstump.us, click on the
flash page, click on ³LINKS² and find the ³Woodcarvers Vice² link and go
there.  It is made from a couple of flanges and a trailer ball.  It works
very well and has great holding power.

Hello Gang:
 
I am a woodworker but new at carving. I tried my hand at wood spirits and
for now that's what I will do. I need a basic vice to attach to my bench.
There is a lot of different vices out there. I don't need to spend a lot of
money on something fancy . . . just a basic vice. Can you give me some
direction? Thank you.
