Any of you ever try willow? We trimmed our weeping willows branches some years ago and I rescued them. They carved with ease (green) and I experienced no cracking or splitting as the items dried. The best part was that they were already round and I didn't have to do too much to carve "in the round". Is there any difference between weeping willow and other types of willow?
