Dennis, there are three different woodcarving roundups in the eastern half of the US if you are interested in this type of program.  These are set up for all levels of carving and for students from beginners to experts.  These programs are in Florida (March), Michigan (June) and Pennsylvania (July).  I will be aqn instructor for each one of these programs along with an incredible number of other talented teachers who teach for little or no remuneration.  There may be other programs, too, about which I am unaware that offer similar opportunities. OPlease write back if you would like more information about any of these.
