I am also new to this list and really enjoy reading the various e-mails
including those not related to wood carving because they deal with life in
general and you can still learn not only about the people writing them but
some times a lesson in life as well. So my hats off to all of you willing to
take the time to share a small bit of your life with in some cases total
strangers to you. Keep the ideas and thoughts coming. I also agree all you
have to do is ask and you will see all kinds of replies ideas and thoughts.
After all its not just going to drop in your lap you need to SEEK out the
wisdom of those more experienced then you and though you may not always
agree be grateful someone took the time to share their thoughts and ideas.
On a side bar Bill Judt I sent you e-mail from your web site on ordering
some of your books did you ever get it?
.

Gentle Subscribers:
Not everyone, it appears, who subscribes to this list, appreciates from the
beginning the primary principle of successful List membership:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door
will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
Some might think that this List is about sitting back and "harvesting where
you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed". That is
not the case.
Ask a question, and someone will answer it in a kindly fashion. Seek and
solution and others will share their carving experience with you. In this
list community, the question you ask is like a seed planted in fertile
ground. It will produce a harvest.
Those who seek only to receive without asking will be disappointed.
Blessings and Peace,
Bill
