Yes ... this subject has been brought up many times before because a

lot of us struggle with the same problems.



It has been suggested in the past, and I'm in full agreement, that the

best tutorial on sharpening is Ev Ellenwood's DVD called "Sharpening

Simplified". I have yet to have anyone who studied the DVD ever tell

me they didn't achieve sharp tools.



It can be gotten directly from Ev at: www.ellenwoodarts.com or from

any reputable woodcarving supply house.

I have tried and tried to hone tools and knives, with stones and

grinders. I can't get it right! Sure you heard this question before,

but I just plain can't get the hang of it! Frustrated in jersey.
