It's a darn good thing! 

 

The NEWR is like Christmas-in-July for me.  We've had students and teachers
come and go since the NEWR started, and I miss 'em. but if the "The Hat
Lady" and her entourage weren't there, I would seriously consider turning in
my cottonwood bark, hanging up the flutes, and calling it a summer.  No
joke.

 

BTW, Harold and his wife are coming.  Harold's teaching gnome-homes in place
of Tony Erickson who had surgery and cancelled his teaching for the year.
Tony.hope your feelin' better. gonna be tough keeping the evil troll carver
in check without ya!

   In addition to the DVD, Ev has just published the Complete Book of
Woodcarving which has a profusely illustrated 52 page chapter devoted to
sharpening knives, gouges and microtools. Overall it is the best carving
book I have encountered.
