Hi Bill, well where to start, after I returned from Kandahar, I spent some
quality time with the family and “licked my wounds” I did however 
find time
to carve and work on my new books. During my leave I had what I call an age
epiphany and came to realization that woodcarving is not just something I love
to do but something I need to do, without it …….I just wouldn’t be me. 
Needless to say I am working on several projects and building new ideas for
future projects. One such project is a new digital pattern & carving book
called “Carving Canadian History” which I am very excited about. If you
have ever been to the Canadian Parliamentary Library and studied the carvings
you would be amazed at the details and hidden woodcarvings that sit in the
shadows of the Library. "Keep Carving"
