Jim,
I have been selling wholesale and retail for 15 years now, alot depends
on trust. The Shops I work closest with my carvings under $125 they pay on
delivery, carvings over this are on commission but they are right here where
I am in contact and have known them for years. All work here is marked up
100% by the shop being a tourist town they do move alot of my work and I
don't have the obligation of rent, light bill etc, one thing that may help
with sales is to carve at the Shop have the owner to put up a sign stating
the day you will be there sales always pick up for me when I am there. Hope
this helps
