There's been some changes in the computer world in past few years.  Apple is making in roads into the PC market share.  MS with Windows 7 is attempting to create a situation where you'll have to buy a new computer,  that is probably going to backfire.  Linux is also making inroads, now MS can no longer force hardware sales companies to install MS OS or pay for it.  Another area that growing fast, quietly to most, is open source software.    The beauty of open source is the attitude of the programmers,  they're not interested in making a killing off their efforts only making the best software around.   That's way most open source software is free.   Tech support might cost a bit, if needed.  I use several open source apps on my web pages and on my computer.  

If noticed there's been a bit of MS advertising lately.
