Sorry for coming in late on this thread, but I was gone for a bit.
I use Earthlink to host my site (and set me up with my domain name). It was
recommended to me by Mike and Sue Irish of www.carvingpatterns.com
<http://www.carvingpatterns.com/> and at $19.95/month, has been very good
so far.
Internet Exploder. (errrr Explorer that is) is impossible to separate from
MS-XP or Veritas (or anything MS) otherwise I would have Mozilla Firefox
exclusively. I used to be a big fan of Netscape, but not lately. I still
keep an old copy of it around for "Composer", which brings me to my
question.
You folks that do your own websites. what authoring tool do you use?
Agreed, Front Page is not an option. I'm not above going in and hand wiring
something that isn't working quite right, but that piece-of-crud doubles the
file size (at least) with all the MS overhead that's in there, and I can't
see enough value added. Feel free to e-mail me off-line with this one.
It's starting to veer away from woodcarving.
Keep on Carvin'
