Hi m.bloomquist
I am Web Master for the Arrowhead Property Owners Association.
When I took over the website
some years ago, it had been written using MicroSlop Something
OrOther. The first thing that
I did was to "View Source" to see what the code looked like so that I
could make changes to
it. My machine then (and still is) a MAC -- the NicroSlop application
that built the site
of course, would not work in my machine. Beside which, the MicroSlop
code gave problems to my
machine. I immediately when on line to find something that would
tell me what I was looking
at. I ultimately found the "Bare Bones Guide to HTML". It can be
found at
http://werbach.com/barebones/
It is generic, so a website built with it can be viewed by ANY machine
regardless of what the
browser is.
Using this Bare Bones Guide, I was able to interpret what I was
looking at, and to then
rebuild the site. The site in question is
http://arrowheadbeach.home.mchsi.com/
I also used it to build my own site
