thanks Joe... I changed wood and carved it out of mahagoney with redwood antlers. have the moose done working on my 3rd set of horns lol... always think of a way to make them better or I break a point of and start again. Will post a pic when (if) I get it done.lol

Hi Charley,
One thing about Walnut is that it'll take any finish well. If Tru oil worked well for you before and you liked the results, there's no reason not to use it again.
