[Woodcarver] First Carving of 2009

This is my first carving of 2009. It’s also the first time I have carved a
wood spirit. It’s carved from Skyler Johnson’s book. Carved on a basswood 10
inch x 1 ½ inch stick. Finished with tinted oil and a light coat of satin
lacquer. Fun one to do. I want to do more of these. I have a couple of wood
spirit study sticks on order to help a bit. Picked up Jan’s WCI set as well.
