Thanks Karen! BLO is short for Boiled Linseed Oil. Sorry I shouldn't do
that! Give a figure a try. Most folks like to start with little figures,
check out Jack Prices book Carving Small Caricatures
http://www.littleshavers.com/All_Books/20175.jpg. You won't waste a lot of
wood either as they are carved out of 1 x 1 sticks.
