*Yes, I do! Does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to make a
LOT of snake scales on a snake carving (rattler with the diamond shaped
scales). I've tested several old tools to stamp the scales but the only
thing I've found that I actually like is an old, cheap "v" gouge that I
reinforced with liquid steel and use it < > to make the scales.
This snake is on a walking stick and the head is about 3 inches across. It
curls around the stick for about 2 1/2 feet approx.
That is a lot of position and tap. Just wondering if there is a better idea
out there for someone who has trouble controlling a knife (nerve damaged
hands and wrists) but will carve 'til the day she dies... LOL
