[Woodcarver] Question about flying with carving tools?

I fly with carving tools all the time. You have
to have them in your checked luggage, though. I
have a TSA approved lock on my bag and usually
alert the inspectors that there are sharp tools
in the bag. The TSA lock isn't going to
discourage anyone from breaking into a
bag..(never had that happen), but it does let you
know if you bag has been opened. I have never had any problems
