[Woodcarver] Business Plans?

Matt, I think it would be interesting for people to describe what they mean
by having a business plan. In my business coaching I see this used in many
ways. Business plans are sometimes referred to for a single sheet of paper
with a few notes, a list of specific goals or benchmarks, or a 12 page typed
document. I have seen multimillion dollar companies use the single sheet
approach and a one person crafter have the 12 page document ( and vice
versa).

Business plans frequently develop when loans are applied for and the lending
institution wants to see it the owner has planned for profits and the
repayment of the loan. This may not be a bad approach based on current
events :).

Just curious.
