I would "STRONGLY" encourage you to notify SI that those pictures are 
yours, your copyright, and that they MUST give you credit immediately 
and permanently or take them down with a posted apology.  You can be 
nice about it, but firm, since they would, as you noted, give you hell 
for using their copyrighted material without permission.    Some years 
ago, when I wrote a review of Christopher White's book, Parables in 
Wood, for the Ezine,  Chris lifted the review, intact, for his website 
to promote the book.  Matt wrote him shortly thereafter and noted that 
it was copyrighted material used without permission and Chris promptly 
rectified it. SI should be a LOT smarter than that.
